English Language Challenges

Hi!

In my last blog I´m going to talk about English language challenges. To be honest, I have never enjoyed English because sometimes I forget basic patterns of grammar, or I don't know many words in English and I'm ashamed to mispronounce the words.

In fact, as I told you once in class, when I went to the States my little brother had to communicate with people because I didn't want to do it. Now I'm really regret it! Because being there could be a great opportunity to improve my English. Actually, I think the best way to learn English is by communicating with people who know the language.

However, outside of English class I didn't use to use English. I think with this class I have learned to lose the fear of speaking in English. Definitely, I think “being forced” to speak English in class helps me to improve my pronunciation, use of grammar and vocabulary. Consequently, I feel more prepared to go to the States than the first time.

To sump up, I believe the best way to learn English is to speak the language. Therefore, I think the use of blogs isn´t as useful as the synchronous classes. Due to having more time, we tend to literally translate the sentences and not think in English.

Even though I hate English, I think I should learn it because it´s necessary in a globalized world.

Don't you think it?
